Bidding on Tenders is an arduous process that is further complicated by having limited comparative data points in many cases, and lack of veracity in gaining ‘lost bids’ data. Ultimately, the client wanted to know; “How do we bid more effectively, utilizing data sparse environments, control our discounting measures, and capitalize on our value whenever possible?”
Created Playbooks, process maps, authority matrices, and a global best practice guides for effectively managing and bidding on tenders in countries across the globe with inconsistent processes for data capture and price deployment. Further established a global protocol on capturing competitive information, auditing process, and data cleansing practices for feedback into the greater global data mart.
Implemented a ‘High Volume Matrix’ by analyzing the top countries compromising approximately 50% of all global revenue to create pricing bands by: Product Family, Group, Line, and Individual by Size,Packaging, and Grade (Quality). Additionally, advanced value attribute analysis to each level and standardize the process globally.
Finally, combined all elements into a tender management tool, to effectively contain the entire process into one program, from bid, entry, pricing, strategy, follow-up, and execution.
